How Botcappers makes decisions—and money.

Readers should be able to distinguish an official model position, an editorial opinion, and a compensated outbound link immediately.

Editorial independence

Official Botcappers picks are produced by sport-specific models using defined inputs and selection thresholds. A sportsbook, advertiser, affiliate partner, or outside sponsor cannot request, purchase, suppress, or change an official position.

Commercial staff do not grade results. A partnership with an operator does not cause that operator’s price to be favored in model evaluation.

Affiliate relationships

Botcappers may receive compensation when a reader clicks an eligible link, creates an account with a third-party operator, or completes another qualifying action. These relationships help support publication and infrastructure.

In plain language

If a link can generate compensation, it should be labeled. The relationship does not increase the price paid by the reader and does not make a sportsbook recommendation risk-free.

  • Compensation does not affect which side, total, or prop a model selects.
  • Offers and eligibility can vary by location and may change without notice.
  • Readers are never required to use an affiliate link to access Botcappers picks.
  • Only legal-age users in permitted jurisdictions should access wagering operators.

Grading and the public record

Every official position is graded according to published rules using the event result and the original selection terms. Losses remain visible. Pushes, cancellations, voids, and corrections are handled consistently rather than chosen case by case.

The original receipt stays attached.

Selection, price, stake, publication time, scheduled event, handicapper, and final grade remain part of the public record. A correction creates an additional log entry rather than silently rewriting history.

Odds, prices, and availability

Displayed prices represent the market captured at or near publication. Sportsbook odds can move quickly, and the price available to a reader may be different. A pick’s value assessment applies to the published price and any explicitly stated limit—not every later number.

Botcappers does not guarantee that a listed market, operator, promotion, or price is available in every location.

Corrections

Factual and grading errors should be corrected transparently. Material changes include a correction note describing what changed and when. Corrections do not erase the original publication timestamp.

If you believe a result, price, attribution, or disclosure is inaccurate, contact the editorial team with the relevant page and supporting source.
